Join us for an intimate evening with singer/songwriter, Ted Leo, as he performs a strictly solo set in the Warhol Theater. With a career spanning over 20 years, Leo’s trajectory began in the late-‘80’s New York hardcore scene with the bands Citizen’s Arrest and Animal Crackers, followed by founding one of the first mod/punk revival bands, Chisel, in D.C. After touring briefly as a guitarist with the Spinanes, Leo formed the group the Pharmacists in ‘99, who have released records on Touch and Go and Matador Records. Pittsburgh-based indie-rock songwriter, Karl Hendricks (Merge Records), opens the show.
Please note: This performance has been postponed from its original date of January 26, 2011 to May 3, 2011. If you purchased tickets for the January 26th performance, your ticket will be honored at the re-scheduled date or you can request a refund.
