The Warhol welcomes San Fermin, the chamber-pop project of Brooklyn musician/composer Ellis Ludwig-Leone, for the first time to the museum. Ludwig-Leone has worked with celebrated composer Nico Muhly on arrangements for the likes of Sufjan Stevens, The National, and Lee Renaldo. The project is currently touring as an ensemble that includes piano, violin, trumpet, saxophone, guitar, drums and three vocalists.
Son Lux (aka Ryan Lott), whose debut recording, At War With Walls and Mazes (2008), earned him the title of “Best New Artist” by NPR’s All Songs Considered, opens the show.
Please note that this event features FREE parking in The Warhol parking lot, located across from the museum building.
