The Warhol welcomes back two highly influential songwriters, Mark Eitzel and Howe Gelb, for an evening featuring both performing as duos, with accompaniment on bass or piano. Eitzel, the romantic songwriter behind cult-favorite American Music Club, is on tour supporting his latest solo album Hey Mr Ferryman on Merge Records, produced by Bernard Butler. Gelb, former front man of the wonderfully off-kilter alt country band Giant Sand, has shifted to jazz-tinged piano-based arrangements on his new solo album Future Standards.
Free parking is available in The Warhol lot.
