The Warhol welcomes The Philadelphia-based psychedelic-folk troubadour Kurt Vile and his dynamic band the Violators, which includes Mike Zanghi (drums), Adam Granduciel (guitar, mellotron, percussion), and Jesse Trbovich (guitars). Recent albums have brought such varied cross-generational comparisons as Leonard Cohen to Psychic TV, Leo Kottke to Animal Collective and Nick Drake to My Bloody Valentine. He’s on tour (both headlining and opening for J Mascis) this spring supporting his latest release Smoke Ring for My Halo on Matador Records. Pittsburgh-based experimental rock quartet, Raw Blow, opens the show.
Parking for this event is complimentary the The Warhol parking lot.
