The Warhol welcomes back singer/songwriter Keren Ann Zeidel, who records and performs her unique bilingual neo-folk music under the name Keren Ann. An Israeli native who relocated to New York in 2004, began her career in music by learning songs by Joni Mitchell and Serge Gainsbourg, whose influences tend inhabit her moody compositions and haunting soundscapes that are as unsettling as they are beautiful. She is on tour this summer supporting her most recent album, Keren Ann 101 on Blue Note Records. The young Brooklyn-based songwriter, Chris Garneau, opens the show.
