We welcome Melbourne-based singer/songwriter Courtney Barnett to Carnegie Lecture Hall on a special solo tour. Barnett became a rising star in 2012 with her thoughtful lyrics and unique garage rock-infused, folk-pop style which quickly garnered praise from Pitchfork, with a Best New Track mention for Avant Gardener in 2013. Since then has been nominated for a Best New Artist Grammy, released an album of songs written in collaboration with Kurt Vile, Lotta Sea Lice, in 2017, and released her latest full-length album Tell Me How You Feel in 2018.  Hachiku, aka Anika Ostendorf, also from Melbourne, opens the show.

  • Doors open at 7 p.m.
