Sound Series: Corridor & Tempers

We welcome the Montreal-based French quintet, Corridor, and the New York-based dark, synth-pop duo, Tempers. With infectious rhythms, dense and layered guitars and vocals sung in French, Corridor blends pop hooks with angular post-punk sensibilities. They released their third album, Junior, on Sub Pop in 2019. Tempers, comprised of Jasmine Golestaneh and Eddie Cooper, combine a range of influences from Fleetwood Mac to Krartwerk and Joy Division, and their multi-disciplinary interests have resulted the 2018 release, Junkspace, collaborating with famed architect Rem Koolhaas through samples of his interview discussing the deconstructed banality and overlooked grace of 20th century shopping mall culture.
