The Warhol welcomes performance artist, songwriter, and harpist, Baby Dee, for a unique evening in the intimate Warhol Theater. On tour supporting Regifted Light, her latest release on Drag City Records, which is a follow-up to her 2008 release Safe Inside the Day, produced by Will Oldham and Matt Sweeney. With a wild and varied performance background that includes being the bandleader of the New York-based Bindlestiff Family Circus and a European tour with the Kamikaze Freak Show, Dee is currently also a member of the Current 93 live band and has ongoing collaborations with the experimental band Larsen as well as Marc Almond and Antony Hegarty of Antony and the Johnsons. Local songwriter Alan Lewandowski (aka Anita Fix) opens the show.
This event will feature a cash bar in the lobby.
