In conjunction with the exhibition Michael Chow aka Zhou Yinghua: Voice for My Father, the museum will hold daily screenings of Murder in the Oratory (1937), directed by renowned filmmaker Fei Mu. Featuring Zhou Xinfang, Michael Chow’s father, the film depicts a dramatic tale of deceit, murder, and family quarrels. Fei Mu merges the operatic and the filmic, crossing the stylized flair and song of Beijing opera with expressive camera angles.

The film will run daily from February 13–May 8, 2016, during the run of the exhibition.

Film schedules are subject to change. Please call 412.237.8300 for the daily schedule.
