The Warhol is thrilled to welcome Neutral Milk Hotel, to the Carnegie Music Hall in Oakland. As a much anticipated follow-up to Jeff Mangum’s stellar (sold out) solo performance at the hall in January 2012, he returns with the full band including Scott Spillane, Julian Koster, and Jeremy Barnes. The band has had a profound impact over the past two decades on indie folk/rock music, largely due to their most recognized record, In The Aeroplane Over The Sea. Released in 1998 on Merge Records.
The psychedelic-folk collective, Elf Power, from Athens, open the show.
Tickets available online at www.ticketmaster.com, at all Ticketmaster outlets including select Giant Eagle Stores. To charge by phone, call 800.745.3000.
